​​Dr. Desai's Care Philosophy:


I have been in practice over TWENTY years in Saint Petersburg/Pinellas county area. I along with my office staff take a personal treatment approach for our patients, regardless of their insurance status. Cancer is a very serious illness and I believe in giving my best of knowledge, compassion and caring treatment environment to our patients. We have very caring and stable staff, who will go out of their way to help patient's need.

Dr.Desai completed her Residency in Internal Medicine from Cook County Hospital, Chicago
Fellowship in Hematology & Oncology from University of Illinois, Chicago. Including rotation at Rush University, West side VA and NIH, Bethesda, MD
Teaching position for two years at Cook County Hospital


Dr.Desai has masters degree in public Health from USF with area of concentration in Epidemiology and biostatics. She understands need of Floridians when it comes to health care. She keeps her knowledge up to date not just in field of Oncology but also for changing health care environment, by attending various conferences, locally and nationally. She is very involved with local chapters and health care partners to understand issues and apply the same to improve  care of her patients.
